Carlos Sentís – World Innovation Alliance Founder and CEO :

 Introduction

Carlos Sentís is the Founder and CEO of the World Innovation Alliance, Board Member at the World Humanitarian Forum, Member of the Steering Committee of Higher Education Innovation at OECD, Presidential advisor at the Organization of Young Entrepreneurs of the European Union, lecturer at IE University, international speaker, trainer and advisor that has worked for more than 130 large companies and institutions in over 10 countries.

Carlos has lectured in 21 universities and business schools, provided training to dozens of corporations, spoken in over 300 events or sessions to more than 40.000 people from 170 nationalities and provided services or collaborated with leading organizations like: United Nations Global Compact, UNWTO, European Economic Social Committee, OECD, WTTC, TikTok, Peace One Day, PWC, Alibaba, Huawei, JCI, World Youth Forum, Coca-Cola, Real Madrid, Tencent, Kiehl´s, Madrid Royal Theatre, LaLiga, Siemens, Chanel, Value Retail, Aena Airports, Dior, Radisson Hotel Group, Iberia, Carrefour, Governments of Spain, Egypt, Portugal, China, Colombia, Perú, México, Liberia and the National Police Forces of 16 different countries, among other public and private institutions.

Education and capabilities

Carlos holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Sciences by Complutense University of Madrid and Global Advanced Management Program by IE Business School. 

He speaks fluent Spanish, English and Chinese, and intermediate French and Arabic.

Career 

Carlos started his career as a journalist in the Spanish “El Imparcial” writing about international affairs, (intern to manager), technology (editor of the “Internet Chronicle”), then became Editor in Chief of El Imparcial Magazine and continued to hold the position of marketing, advertising and business manager. He then created, with his father, the journalist José Antonio Sentís, Ideas, Education and Communication Ltd, the consultancy specialized in communication and international relations, with which Carlos has developed most of his work with companies and institutions from multiple industries. In 2018, Carlos founded the “World Innovation Alliance” to find and apply specific scalable solutions for the UNSDGs, which remains to be his main occupation today.
